We met Mark LaPalm when we were living in Gilbert, AZ. We loved our house, but we looked around one day and realized it needed some changes. It needed color, pizazz, fun, updating. A friend told us about Mark LaPalm and Blue Desert Interiors. We purchased our condo in May of 2015, and have never used an Interior designer before, but we live 2500 miles away, and couldn't be there to organize and supervise the work. Mark and his staff took all the work out of our remodel. They shopped for, ordered and took delivery of all the items we purchased. Mark's ideas were right on the money; our place went from blah... to Bada Bing!, just the way we wanted it. From the business viewpoint; We received phone calls on any major purchases, and detailed billing for everything. That's how we had told Mark we wanted to do business, and that's exactly how he did it. He was obviously listening. On a side note; we are careful shoppers, and checked many items' prices against Internet pricing. In nearly every case, the prices he charged were as good or better than we were able to find online. We like the idea that we know exactly how much everything cost; there was no built-in markup. We thought the contractors he used were quite reasonable in view of the work they did. Mark was a pleasure to deal with; he was patient with us, took the time we needed on the phone to discuss plans, and treated us as if we were his biggest customers. The job started and completed on time. Our budget was flexible, but limited, and Mark checked with us every step of the way. We would recommend Blue Desert Interiors without reservation.
